Re: ‘Diddler on the goof’ (May 9, 2021)
Irv Kettler appears to have mistaken President Joe Biden for the lying, cheating and traitorous con artist he replaced.
Donald J. Trump was the embarrassing joke the American people, who had never voted for him in the first place, threw out of the Oval Office last November. It was he who made silly and dishonest remarks, like: “The election was stolen from me!”, And incited his servants to attack our Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the democracy that our founding fathers created there. over 240 years ago.
As we finally near the end of this damn pandemic, we haven’t crossed the finish line yet, which is why people are still wearing masks and getting vaccinated. Those who are not are today’s Schmoos.

Water company fight
The only winners in the city of Apple Valley’s fight to take over the water company are the lawyers who have raised millions of dollars in our taxes. There have been so many Straw Men raised in battle that the truth about what really is the basis of the eminent estate costume has been obscured – whether accidentally or on purpose. I hope for a timely settlement in order to put an end to this loss of city cash flow.

It’s a shame
Truly, I am saddened that in the Mojave River Valley there are so many people (based on your published letters) who want America to denounce its free enterprise methods, its constitutional democracy, its republic, for a socialist state controlled by the federal government.

Who wears a mask?
I went to Lowe’s in Apple Valley last week and couldn’t help but notice that despite the signs asking to wear a mask, there were several people shopping in the store who didn’t. wore no mask. Later I went to Home Depot and then to Winco. Same. Several people without a mask. The next day I was in Hesperia and I went to the Vallarta supermarket. Big difference. Literally everyone in the store wore a mask. I wonder what caused the difference?

I suspect Rick Benefield is a Democrat and won’t take advantage of what happens in the next two or three elections.

My mother was right
I have constantly heard them grow:
“Give them an inch, they’ll take a mile” … allowing the riots and destruction to continue without serious attempts at control or prosecution.
“Don’t cut your nose to upset your face” … continue to tolerate the above to gain power and ensure that every decision opposes any vestige of a previous administration.
“I can’t see the forest for the trees” … continuing to tolerate the above two factors makes NYC (and many other cities) scratch its head as to what is causing the rise in crime and crime. the death of tourism (Times Square war zone) and the exodus of residents.
My mother was right.

Biden the bad cop Keystone
‘Resident’ Biden has graciously deprived the American public with his illogical executive orders to stop work on the Keystone pipeline and frustrated coal mining just to put the nation at the mercy of all the thugs who are keeping America from l independence from fossil fuels. Her energy secretary is so ill-informed that she doesn’t realize that electric vehicles need fossil fuels to generate the electricity grid. She recently waxed pathetic, stating that we can use our electric cars without the accessibility of the colonial pipeline.
We now have an administration run by “dumb” and “dumb”. I can’t wait for “the dumbest” to utter a similar mess.

To all the cops at work: THANK YOU. I will be with you.

My new pay raise
Again, what planet do these people live on? The federal government will give you $ 250 to $ 300 per month per child if you earn less than a certain amount of money. Well I can hear it now: “Honey, I get a raise of $ 300 a month – while doing blivets (blivet: an article done over and over again). Next year I will get another $ 300 per month. In 20 years, we will be earning $ 6,000 more per month. ”
It gets better President Biden says that cost will be offset when these children grow up to be high-wage earners and, as a result, pay more taxes. So, I guess that’s how California will solve its population problem, and Biden, on his own, will bankrupt Planned Parenthood. OK, now that I’ve thought about it, this is a good plan. But wait. Planned Parenthood is going to need a brew to stay in business, and environmentalists and zero population supporters are going to revolt over the overpopulation. Oh no, now that’s not a good plan. Scroll down.
