An EastEnders fan thinks he’s worked out the script for this year’s Christmas and how Danny Dyer could leave the BBC One soap opera.
Taking to Twitter, soap fan Ryan predicted that Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright) will pretend to have amnesia when she wakes up from her coma and claim she doesn’t remember the involvement of Janine Butcher (played by Charlie Brooks) in the car accident. which led to her being hospitalized.
But he thinks Linda will “get revenge on Janine in the end” and it will all be exposed on Christmas Day and tear the Carter family apart, resulting in the departure of Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer).

He wrote: “With Linda set to wake up tomorrow, the clock is now ticking for Janine. I think Linda may remember what happened – but keep Janine clear for now.
“If Linda is pretending to have amnesia, she might let Sharon know and then find the right time to strike and get revenge on Janine at the end.
“I can see it all blowing up on Christmas Day. Linda feigning amnesia – on Christmas Day the whole secret explodes, tears the Carters apart and that’s how Mick might choose to leave the Square in the end.

The fan also asked for her followers’ opinion, writing, “Do you think Linda will fake amnesia when she wakes up tomorrow and then team up with Sharon to reveal Janine’s secret?” #EastEnders”.
More than 76% of her followers thought it would, but some disagreed with one write-up: “If she’s been in a coma, I think she’ll be too confused and disoriented to even think about to pretend.”
Recent scenes have seen a devastated Mick full of worry as he visits his ex-wife in hospital after she was involved in an explosive car accident with his current love interest Janine.

The scenes saw the pair crash into a tree, with Janine losing control of the car after dodging an oncoming truck.
Moments before the collision, the duo were arguing about their love interest Mick.
After the accident, Janine then moved the body of a drunk Linda to make it look like she was driving the vehicle before the collision.

A spokesperson for EastEnders confirmed Danny’s exit earlier this year. They said in a statement: “”Danny will leave EastEnders when his contract expires later this year.
“Danny made Mick Carter an iconic character that we will always be grateful for.
“However, we won’t be saying goodbye just yet as there is still some time – and plenty of explosive drama for Mick – before he leaves Walford.”
